Trading in the Daily Grind for a Busier Time in Life!

Where are we? Hints in the blog that follows! It’s true – retirement is a busy time of life! Yes, the daily grind is gone. No more getting up and out the door to a job where there are bosses, deadlines and computer snafus. But that doesn’t mean retirement is for the retired! Rather, if you are a quilter or any kind of hobbyist, retirement is a time to submerse yourself in your creative and imaginative side! Since I last blogged in early May, I have certainly further submersed myself into quilting projects, with a little travel time with family thrown in for measure. And, I don’t mean traveling to Paducah or Houston for a quilt show! So, where else would this quilter even bother to travel? Let’s go all the way! Let’s take the big trip! Let’s cross the pond, and see castles and visit museums, take train trips and learn a bit of history. Let’s go to England and Scotland!
